About us

TroubleChute Rigging is a small business specialising in the manufacture and repair of parachute components. Along with parachute work we offer any textile design and manufacture as clients desire. We are not limited to small amounts of work, and can produce batch lots as well as individual items. With our name getting around the traps we have several other ideas we are currently working on in the trades area. As parachute work in Australia is far from plentiful we have diversified into other areas of design and manufacturing, including the design of a Cordless Drill Holster which is sold in many plumbing merchants such as Reece, Tradelink, Hardware House, Harris and several others. TroubleChute Rigging is a partnership between Darren and Darlene Morgan. Darren has 10 years experience parachuting and 8 years packing/rigging experience with 1 year working on full time basis with Paradynamics. He has gained the qualification of Rigger Examiner with the Australian Parachute Federation (APF). This is the highest level someone can achieve within this organisation in relation to parachute packing/rigging. He has also gained his Maintenance Authority (A602607) with CASA so can maintain hot air balloons. Darren is currently serving as the Chair of Rigging on the Victorian-Tasmanian Parachute Council (VTPC).
